Reasons to Visit Golden Nugget Las Vegas

November 14, 2018

The Biggest Deal

In honor of Golden Nugget’s holiday gift to us all, we’re giving you all the best reasons to snag the Biggest Deal and get yourself to the best hotel in downtown Las Vegas. The Biggest Deal offers the best prices on rooms all year (35% weekdays and 25% off weekends) and includes some hotel credits and discounts. Book your room here.

The Rooms

Golden Nugget is the most luxurious hotel on Fremont Street, so you won’t have to compromise on comfort to be close to the action downtown. The standard and deluxe rooms have all been recently renovated with upgraded pillow-top mattresses and contemporary décor. And if you really want high-end, the Spa suites here are the stuff Vegas bucket lists are made of: two-story suites with floor-to-ceiling windows, all uniquely styled.

The Food

The hotel has nine award-winning dining outlets, so you don’t even have to leave the property to eat like a king/queen/gender-nonconforming royal. Red Sushi has a new menu to try with a lot more than just sushi, Cadillac is a crowd-pleaser with tacos and tequila, and Claim Jumper serves up classic American dishes. For fancier nights, Chart House features a 75,000-gallon, floor-to-ceiling aquarium (and an amazing happy hour!); and Vic & Anthony’s is an intimate, upscale steakhouse with a lobster mac and cheese you won’t forget. That isn’t all of the great restaurants here, but it’s probably enough to make you hungry just reading this.

The Pool

At The Tank, you can swim inches from sharks, while soaking in the sun in the middle of downtown Las Vegas. Golden Nugget’s three-story pool complex has a staggering 200,000-gallon aquarium at its center, even featuring a water slide that takes you right through it all. Where else can you have a beer, have a swim, and relax watching the sharks go by?

The Nightlife

Golden Nugget’s 600-seat Showroom has featured everyone from Charlie Daniels to Everclear and has a different concert every Friday at 8pm. Rush Lounge has live music nightly, and Troy, the only club on the Fremont Street Experience, has DJs Thursday through Sunday. Troy also has a balcony that offers a perfect view of Fremont Street’s free concert series if you plan it right.

There’s a lot more than that, but you get the idea. The best thing about Golden Nugget is that you don’t have to choose between a nice hotel and an exciting one—it’s luxurious but not stuffy, classic but not old. Check it out! This deal only lasts through November 26.
